Thank you for inquiring about Freehold Jewish Center. We are delighted that you are considering our traditional congregation, the Freehold Jewish Center-Congregation Agudath Achim. For over a century we have come together to worship, study, celebrate and support one another. We encourage you to be part of our welcoming congregation, to be stimulated and to be provided the opportunity to make you proud to be Jewish.
While there are many benefits that all members enjoy, a new member or family with a child enrolling in our Hebrew School has their membership dues waived for the first year.
We want to point out that membership is much more than paying dues. It is a chance to explore the diverse opportunities for Jewish expression that are available in our community. An enriching experience can be had by joining with other congregants to work on an assortment of activities: religious, educational, social, etc. In truth, many lifelong friendships have been established by our members working with and getting to know fellow congregants.
We hope you will join us for Morning Minyan, Kabbalat Shabbat Friday evening services at 7:30 PM and Shabbat morning services at 9:00 AM. Please let us know when you will join us and we will arrange for one of the Membership Committee members to greet you.
Feel free to call the Synagogue Office with any questions you may have or to request a membership packet. One of our committee members; Sandra Altman, Shari Back, Howard Kupferberg, Amanda Baum, Leonard Brownstein, Steven Weisman, or Jeffrey Weiner or our Executive Director, Christine Mahler would be happy to meet with you and answer any questions you may have. Please call the office at 732-462-0254. We look forward to you becoming a part of our FJC family.
