Sisterhood
The Freehold Jewish Center Sisterhood consists of ladies that are members of
our synagogue or our community. Along with making lasting friendships, we offer fun and spiritual events to participate in.
COMMUNITY/EVENTS
Our Tehillim Group meets every other month on various days. By coming together and reading King David's Psalms and saying special blessings over food, a strong bond is formed and miracles can happen.
Sisterhood takes pride in raising funds to help support our synagogue. We are always looking for ideas and programs. Please see the synagogue calendar for upcoming events. We welcome new members as it is fun to make new friends.
Chesed Committee
Volunteers assist in the mitzvah of visiting the ill and homebound, as well as in the performance of various acts of chesed or loving-kindness. New volunteers are always welcome. If you are interested in joining the Chesed committee, please use our Contact page to reach the main office.
Bingo
Join us on Wednesday evenings for some fun. Doors open at 6 PM.
Early Bird starts at 7:20 PM with the Regular Games beginning at 7:40 PM.
Tai Chi Classes
Join us on Friday morning at 9:30 AM for a good stretch. These classes are free and open to the public.
Freehold Area Open Door Food Pantry Donations
Do a Mitzvah! Help stock the shelves at Open Door. Drop off your non-perishable food donations at the Synagogue any weekday from 9 AM-2 PM. We will gladly deliver the food to Open Door for you. If you want to donate gift cards or a check, we can deliver them as well. Please make checks payable to Freehold Area Open Door.
