The Adult Education Committee presents or sponsors several varied activities. These range from Rabbi Greene's Wednesday morning lectures on historical and spiritual topics to Hebrew crash courses in coordination with National Jewish Outreach. We also host the pre-Selichot program preceding the High Holidays, co-sponsor a Yom Hashoa observance and participate in Shabbat Across America.

Three programs are presented each winter. The format varies and may include lectures, films along with commentary and discussion, and expeditions to a place of interest. We look for traditional subjects, as well as, programs with more general appeal. Past programs have included the film, "Obsession " followed by a moderated discussion, lectures on family life such as raising children in a modern multicultural society, and trips to a Jewish Heritage Museum and walking tours of the lower East Side.
